Pyrethrins

Our mosquito misting concentrates use either botanical Pyrethrum or Permethrin, its synthetic equivalent, to control and protect against mosquitoes and other insects. Pyrethrum (or pyrethrins) is a natural, botanical insecticide made from chrysanthemum flowers. The mosquito misting solution has been used for centuries and is one of the most widely used all-around insecticides. Both natural and synthetic Pyrethrins are used in nearly every category of mosquito control and are frequently used in a variety of household products such as human head-lice shampoo, indoor mosquito foggers, and pet flea sprays.

RAPID KNOCKDOWN AND KILL

Pyrethrins contact affects an insect’s central nervous system causing almost immediate knockdown and kill.

JAMMING

Small, remaining traces of Pyrethrins cause female mosquitoes (the ones that bite) to stop seeking blood sources – including you!

ACTIVATION

In small amounts, Pyrethrins stimulates insects out of their hiding places, causing them to come into contact with the mist solution, increasing knockdown and kill.

AVOIDANCE

Even in small quantities, Pyrethrins causes mosquitoes to fly away from and out of a treated area.

The ALLCLEAR Cordless Mosquito Mister is for use ONLY with ALLCLEAR Mosquito Mister Concentrate. The concentrate and mister are designed to work together and are calibrated to dispense a precise amount of misting solution. Use ALLCLEAR Cordless Mosquito Mister and ALLCLEAR Mosquito Mister Concentrate only as directed by instructions. Pyrethins are toxic to fish and other aquatic life. Be sure to direct mister nozzles away from bodies of water where aquatic life is present. Do not mist when people, food, or pets are present.
